Strong Connections in Challenging Times: COSMORAMA DMC at ITB Berlin 2026.
The ITB Berlin 2026, shaped by geopolitical tensions, climate risks, and economic uncertainty, is already history.
COSMORAMA DMC successfully took part in the 60th anniversary edition of the world’s leading B2B Travel Trade Show, held in Berlin from 3rd to 5th March, under the umbrella of the GREEK NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION at hall 1.1, stand 101.
- Since 1966, ITB Berlin has stood as the world’s leading travel trade show, bringing together 5,601 exhibitors from 166 countries and territories to showcase their products and services to nearly 100,000 attendees.
- Despite the tense situation in the Middle East, which in some cases led to a lack of flights, the ITB Berlin fair again demonstrated the importance of trust, international cooperation and face-to-face meetings in the industry.
- A big thank you to all our friends and partners who visited our stand, shared their insights, and spent time with us during the event. Despite limited flight availability in some markets due to the Middle East conflict, the number of meetings remained almost on par with last year.
Throughout the 3-day exhibition, COSMORAMA DMC presented its latest portfolio for Greece, highlighting a curated selection of emerging destinations, distinctive hotels and venues, tailor-made programs, and innovative travel experiences.
The presentation reflected the growing international demand for Greece and COSMORAMA’s commitment to delivering high-quality, customized solutions across leisure, MICE, and special interest travel segments.
The organization was formally represented at the Greek National Tourist Organization stand by Mr. Stratis Voursoukis, Head of DMC & MICE, and Mr. Pantelis Kapetanakis, e-Commerce Director.
Industry professionals emphasized resilience, crisis preparedness, and data-driven early warning systems as key priorities. Artificial intelligence is also transforming the sector through personalized travel experiences and advanced booking technologies. Discussions highlighted structural shifts, including the widening gap between premium and mass markets, the need for smarter destination management to tackle overtourism, and the growing importance of trust in communication with travelers. Tourism was also recognized as a potential driver for stabilization and reconstruction in times of crisis, as illustrated by Ukraine.
Overall, the sector is moving toward greater reliance on data-driven decisions, technological innovation, and seamless travel experiences in an increasingly complex global environment.
Due to a one-off change in dates, the next ITB Berlin will take place from 16 to 18 March 2027.
