Celebrate the holiday season in Greece with a magical journey that begins in festive Athens, where Christmas lights and historic landmarks bring the city to life. Continue through the legendary sites of Classical Greece — from Epidaurus and Mycenae to Olympia, Delphi, and the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora — all UNESCO treasures steeped in history and beauty. A perfect blend of festive charm, ancient wonders, and timeless landscapes.

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

In the evening, take a stroll through festively decorated Syntagma Square and Ermou Street, where Christmas lights, markets, and seasonal treats create a magical holiday atmosphere.

After breakfast at hotel, pick up for our Athens Sightseeing Tour. Our Athens Half Day Tour begins with a panoramic drive around Syntagma square, passing by many sightseeing hot spots such as National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral and Schliemann’s House. We will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. We continue for a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium, otherwise known as Kallimarmaro Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. As we proceed, we pass by Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Last but not least, we make our way to the archaeological site of Acropolis, an UNESCO’S world heritage monument and we visit Propylae, as well as the small Temple of Athena Nike. Of course, our visit shall not be completed without the Parthenon and Erechtheion. The expert guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour continues with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the New Acropolis Museum. With this Athens half day tour, you will enjoy one of the top UNESCO'S world heritage monuments.
At the end of our tour, transfer back to your hotel & balance of the day at leisure.
In the evening, we highly recommend visiting the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center, one of the most vibrant spots for Christmas celebrations in Athens. Enjoy a walk by the illuminated lake, listen to festive concerts, or immerse yourself in enchanting holiday tales at the lighthouse.

Breakfast

After breakfast, check out from hotel and pick up for our four-day Classical Greece Tour to explore the glory of ancient Greece with and visit five UNESCO'S world heritage sites.
We leave Athens in the morning via the scenic coastal road, with a short stop at the Corinth Canal, the historic link between the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
We continue to Epidaurus, where we will visit the world-renowned Ancient Theatre, famous for its exceptional acoustics and architectural harmony.
Next, we make a brief stop (short photo stop) in the charming seaport town of Nafplio, Greece’s first capital, crowned by the imposing Palamidi Fortress.
Our journey continues through the fertile plains of Argos to Mycenae, home of the legendary King Agamemnon. We walk through the monumental Lion’s Gate, marvel at the Cyclopean Walls, and visit the Royal Tomb of Agamemnon, a masterpiece of Mycenaean engineering.
In the afternoon, we travel through the mountainous region of Central Peloponnese, passing Tripoli and Megalopolis, and arrive in Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games.

After breakfast, we begin our day with a guided visit to Ancient Olympia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We explore the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the ancient Stadium, and the Olympia Archaeological Museum, home to magnificent classical sculptures.
After the visit, we drive through the lush plains of Eliad and Achaia, then cross the impressive Rion–Antirion Bridge, one of the world’s longest cable-stayed bridges, linking the Peloponnese with mainland Greece over the Corinthian Gulf.
We pass by the picturesque coastal towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea, before ascending the slopes of Mount Parnassus to reach the historic sanctuary of Delphi, once considered the navel of the ancient world.

After breakfast, immerse yourself in the mystical aura of Delphi, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Treasury, the Castalia Spring, and the Sacred Way, which once echoed with pilgrims seeking the wisdom of the Oracle.
Later, we depart for Kalambaka, a traditional town nestled at the foot of the awe-inspiring Meteora rocks. We journey across the fertile Thessalian Plain, passing the towns of Lamia and Trikala along the way.

This morning, check-out from hotel after breakfast and we proceed with visiting the breathtaking Meteora Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary places in Greece. Perched atop towering rock pillars, the centuries-old monasteries offer a surreal blend of nature, spirituality, and Byzantine artistry. Visit two of the active monasteries and soak in panoramic views over the valley below.
After our visit to Meteora rocks, we begin our return to Athens via Trikala and Lamia, crossing the fertile Thessalian plain.
We make a brief stop at Thermopylae to view the monument of Leonidas, King of Sparta, who fell heroically in the famous battle against the Persians in 480 BC.
The tour returns to Athens late in the afternoon.
