Begin your journey at a local market, selecting the freshest ingredients before stepping into the kitchen, where our professional cook will guide you through the secrets of Greek cuisine.
Immerse yourself in Greek gastronomy with a hands-on cooking experience that begins with shopping and ends with a delicious meal you prepare yourself. Guided by a professional cook, you will discover local ingredients and learn how to create classic Greek recipes in a friendly, interactive setting.
During the experience, you will prepare and enjoy traditional appetizers, salads, and dishes such as tzatziki, dolmadakia, the authentic Greek salad, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, and finish with a favorite Greek dessert, chocolate salami. All dishes are prepared by you and served in a cozy restaurant located in the heart of Athens’ historical center.
The experience lasts approximately 3½ hours and includes shopping at the Athens Central Market (not available on Sundays) and lunch. Aprons, gloves, all cooking supplies, a recipe booklet, and a private workshop area are provided. An English-speaking facilitator per team of up to 15 participants and a professional cook will be on hand throughout, ensuring an enjoyable and authentic culinary journey.

- Organized Tours operate on specific days and depend on weather and road conditions, as well as follow official authorities’ instructions. Tours may change or be cancelled according to official authorities’ orders.
- Organized Tours are on shared basis (SIC) with other participants (no maximum number).
- Organized Tours' main language is English and may also be multilingual, depending on operation.
- In case of an increase in the VAT or other taxes, including entrance fees, rates are subject to change without prior notice.
- Rates may change during special periods such as Athens Authentic Marathon, Christmas, New Year, Easter, International Congresses, Special Sports Events, Conventions and Fairs.
- In case accommodation is included, we would like to inform you that guests shall be required to pay directly to the hotel a “Climate Resilience Tax”, per overnight, per room. This tax goes directly to the state and the Hotel and/or travel agents have no interference. Hotel guests shall be requested to pay the Climate Resilience Tax directly to the hotel and is not included in our above offer.
