After breakfast at your hotel, our journey begins with a scenic drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf, heading towards our first stop at the Corinth Canal. This 19th-century engineering marvel connects the Ionian and Aegean Seas, offering a spectacular view and a perfect photo opportunity during our short stop.

We continue our journey to Mycenae, one of the most significant centers of Greek prehistory, famously linked to the legendary Trojan War. This ancient citadel was home to the powerful Mycenaean civilization, the backdrop of Homer’s epic tales.

During our guided tour, we will explore:

• The Lion’s Gate, the iconic entrance to the ancient citadel.
• The Cyclopean Walls, an architectural wonder built with massive stone blocks.
• The Treasury of Atreus, a monumental beehive tomb believed to be the burial site of Mycenaean royalty.

After lunch, we make our way to Nafplio, often regarded as one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Greece. Known as “Napoli di Romania” during Venetian rule, Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece and boasts a rich blend of Venetian, Ottoman, and Neoclassical architecture.

During our visit, we will:

• Stroll through charming alleys filled with colorful bougainvillea and historical landmarks.
• Admire the Palamidi Fortress, a magnificent Venetian stronghold perched high above the city.
• View the Bourtzi Castle, a small but striking island fortress standing guard in the harbor.
• Visit the Cathedral of Saint George, a historic church adorned with stunning religious artwork.
